SponsorPay’s first ever crack at Movember was extremely successful – we were able to raise over $1,300! Not only did that make us the second most successful team in Germany, it nearly made up 10% of the total amount of money raised in the country!
A big shout out to our Director of Marketing Projjol Banerjea who raised $402, the ninth highest individual total in Deutschland. Our North America and UK Advertiser Manager Tanya Lee also deserves a lot of credit — she was the one who brought the idea to the table. Finally, kudos to our entire team who came together to make it happen.
A lot of you are probably wondering how things have been going with our Movember campaign. Since there are really no words to describe the madness that has been bestowed upon our faces, we crafted a short video to document the crusade.
Now presenting — SponsorPay: The Mo-vie.
There is still time to help us in our effort to bring awareness to and raise funds for men’s health— visit our MoSpace and donate!
Things will soon be getting rather hairy here at SponsorPay. We’re proud to be participating in the month long bro-fest known as ‘Movember‘ – the global effort to bring awareness to and raise funds for men’s health. For those of you not quite in the know, the month formerly known as November is a time where men around the world, known as Mo Bros, rock out killer moustaches – encouraged, of course, by the women in their lives, Mo Sistas – to become walking, talking billboards for 30 days.
Last year’s Movember campaign raised $US 80.7 million globally. This year’s beneficiaries include Prostate Cancer Foundation, LIVESTRONG, Awareness & Education and Global Action Plan.
Not only will we be keeping you updated via our blog, you can also follow our ‘stache story on our Mo Space. Please join the cause and give yourself mo’ good karma by posting a donation to our page.
We hope to have some pretty gnarly photos to share with everyone so be sure to track the progress of our crumb catchers. For the time being, check out some of our freshly shaven faces for the first of the month (as the rules dictate).
Needless to say, we’re pretty excited around here. After all, life is more fun with a bro-stache
